What? Clipper guards are single-digit numbers like 0 or 2
I agree, but to be fair to OP, 5 and 9 are also single digit numbers.

My Andis set has a number, as well as both metric and freedom units on each guard.
i’ve seen more clipper guards with mm than with those single digit numbers, which is good because those numbers told me nothing, if i recall correctly they do not match the hair lenght they’d cut to but instead are just numbered from smallest to biggest in the set

Interesting. Is this often what is used in other countries perhaps? I’m an American and I’ve always been asked in terms of inches. I’d guess centimeter would be used most other places.
I’m in Canada and the barber always asks in inches.
Canada all over the place when it comes to units of measure.
True as hell.
Small distances? Inches and feet.
Large distances? Kilometers.
Outdoor temperature? Celsius.
Oven temperature? Fahrenheit
I feel like liquid volume is the only one we’ve truly went all in in metric (oz and gallon aren’t really used day to day)
Still can’t be sure when buying set of measuring spoons though. Is it a metric cup?
I assume they’re asking what length of blade guard to use, as sometimes they do come in mm sizes
I can confirm that’s the case where I live.
the drab hipster shit of the 00s is at least not as bad as the neon triangles and curly Qs of the 90s
Better than everybody looking like broccoli
True. I looks so insanely boring.
Hey now, I’m sure you have other good qualities.
broccoli is the avocado of Gen Z
you know you’re getting old when you catch yourself saying “what the chicken fried fuck are these kids doing”
🤓 actually its 5.7mm. 👉👈 At least for the calibers the barber is carrying. Frickin noob.
