BG3, Skyrim, and I guess minecraft. If I can choose a non-game software, then probably the requirements for something like Godot and some downloaded documentation and libraries instead of minecraft.

I mean, I immigrated to Japan fairly easily. If you have a university degree and speak good English, there are visas to be had. IT as well. I do find I have a tougher time since I came over in my 30s, compared to the younger people coming here.
gross. Also, the reason people aren’t having kids isn’t due to a lack of people fucking, despite what some articles may say; it’s entirely related to societal issues that need complex fixes. That said, three of my friends have had kids in the last couple years.
They don’t always do definitive editions, so should I just wait forever and never get it?
This is not a binary. “If they do not release a definitive edition, I can never buy it” is not a true statement. Show the company that you’re not going to get it right away and convince others to do the same.
they just view that as people not being interested in the game at all, so they quit making anything.
I have never seen this happen with a popular IP. People complaining on social media would also probably be a decent enough way for someone at the company to know as around release, companies will definitely be checking.
I specifically noted that I did not think they did preorders. Secondly, you could also not buy it when it first comes out, which is what I was getting at. If you know they are going to do this, either wait to buy the “full version” or buy it later on sale or not at all. Basically, buying it when it comes out is still telling the company that, even for an incomplete product, you’re still willing to shell out full price for it.
If you keep giving them money at or around the time it comes out (or before, but I don’t think they do preorders), then they will never stop doing this.
I 100% agree with this.
Some of those same reasons are the reasons voter ID laws as often implemented (i.e. without anyway to ensure that everyone is actually able to get an ID given that it takes documents, time, and money that not everyone can spare) can negatively impact the same portions of the population as well.
I’ve taken and passed practice tests before. A lot of Americans who may be down-voting may remember things like Jim Crow laws and how tests were widely used to disenfranchise voters, particularly non-white or otherwise “the wrong kind of” voters, in the past and it still leaves a bad taste.
In Japan, there are a couple of chains that exist and smaller restaurants (basically all in the areas where foreigners are and moreso near US militar bases). “Taco rice” is a local take that is basically taco ingredients served over rice instead of in a taco shell. Almost all of the places are adjusted to Japanese tastes by default, so a lot lower on the spice. Lots of foreigners living here end up going to one of a couple of places (two of which are basically Chipotle knock-offs for however “Mexican” you might consider that) or giving up and making their own. We did get Taco Bell a few years ago (again “Mexican”) which has a more limited menu. I wasn’t impressed, but I never cared for US Taco Bell, either, but it had lines lasting hours the first days/weeks it was open.
“Stay a while. Stay forever”
For your gandfather, could it be dementia? Personality change, including dropping of inhibitions, can be signs of that.
I’m seeing a screenshot of this so I’m pretty sure she’s alive, but she might be an AI or a zombie.
Looking at how even WWII units were segregated, schools not getting integrated until the '60s, etc. I’m unfortunately not sure they really lost to begin with (which should not be allowed to pass again if there is a next time).
It’s the end of the world (as we know it)?
Worry, mostly (as a US citizen living overseas). I doubt my family would want to come over, and I doubt Japan would even issue visas for them to do so (on most SoRs, you can only bring over dependent family who are financially and/or medically dependent upon you. None of my family pass this test).
It really would depend upon what kind of conflict it became. If it involved the armed forces even currently overseas (though I doubt it), presumably, a number of nations would do whatever the hell they felt like if they felt emboldened enough by a preoccupied US. This would be checked in Europe, but I’m less sure about Asia. Then again I’m just a normal dude.
Historically, double-negatives were considered proper or required in some dialects of English (or what would become English depending upon where one might draw that line). Many other languages require some form of negative agreement in negative sentences.
at hospital
At work, at school, etc. are doing the same thing in US English. People are generally not saying “at my/the/a school/work”.
If you’re going to fix the calendar, we should move SEPTember to position 7, OCTober to 8, NOvember to 9, and DECember to 10 where they belong (or just rename them all to be number-based instead of an arbitrary mish-mash of numbers, people (Julius, Augustus, etc.), and so on).
I can’t get behind that for fast-food-tier food. In fact, the opposite is always true for me.
I only got to act 2 and just got super busy so I have plenty left, heh
