I’d take what you’re reading here with a grain of salt.
I’d take what you’re reading here with a grain of salt.
I switched to AirVPN from Mullvad after they removed port forwarding and it has been working fine for me. The phone client is dated like others say, and I have had a few ads popup in it, but it’s worked fine so far. I don’t have anymore knowledge about their privacy standards than the next guy, but I’m not too concerned as I’m just using it to torrent Linux ISOs.
I will say that Mullvad is a pretty stand-up company, and I was sad to leave them, but I need port forwarding.
Can’t install extensions on a work machine but you can add a network wide blocker?
I think this is instance dependent. Midwest.social is super slow for me frequently and times out a lot depending on the time of day.
For the fourteenth time, it’s completely irrelevant to the discussion.
You talk about conveniently ignoring things while you’re ignoring the whole topic so you can keep talking about some updates to Fallout '76 as if that has any bearing on Bethesda trending toward doing worse and worse with each new release. You’re making a completely separate argument to the rest of us.
Is that my “line of thinking” when I never said anything of the sort? I don’t think so.
I’ve never played Cyberpunk 2077 nor No Man’s Sky and have zero opinion on them, but you bringing them up out of nowhere as some sort of ‘gotcha’ screams “my argument is based on emotion and not fact.”
So Bethesda is good because Starfield might be worth playing 10 years after it was released? You’re obviously not understanding the point here.
It doesn’t matter that they improved '76 after the fact. It matters that they keep releasing top dollar garbage that needs years of work after the fact to even be playable.
Like imagine if you bought a brand new car that broke down immediately after you drove it off the lot. You take it back to them and they tell you “We understand you’re disappointed, so if we get time we’ll fix it for you and should have it back to you in a year or two.” Are you going to be satisfied with no car and no money for that long? Does it really make it better if they do actually fix it at some undetermined point in the future?
What parts? Their organization is just employee journalists and people reading scripts in front of a camera.
“Bethesda hasn’t improved since Fallout '76 was released”
Make sense now?
and they ended up with something that didn’t really work and shouldn’t have shipped.
That sure didn’t stop the marketing department, as this game was being shoved in our faces left and right as if it was the end-all-be-all game we’d be playing with our grand children in 50 years.
Why do use an example of 3 drag queens hitting on you as an example of them doing something bad? I’ve been hit on by other guys even though I’m straight, and I find it flattering more than anything. It’s not like people know your sexual preferences by looking at you.
Yeah it hasn’t even been 5 years since this shit happened during COVID and people can’t remember how ridiculous it was back then. How much toilet paper is even being shipped here from overseas and not manufactured using the billions of trees we have here in North America? Shit like this, or people panic buying gasoline and filling up trash bags with it, gives me a little bit of insight as to why the ruling class treats us like cattle.
Yes, this is quite obvious.
I’m sorry, but if you can’t accept legalization of cannabis without a public apology, I would say “letting the perfect be the enemy of the good” is exactly the right phrase to use.
Here you, in an incredibly condescending tone, are stating that legalization is a forgone conclusion based on nothing more than a campaign promise. People are pointing out examples where her actions contradict said campaign promise, which is why they have a hard time believing it. Candidates make false campaign promises all the time, so I can’t see why you’re attacking people for not falling for it the 100th time. Talk is cheap.
That’s what a different user said not the top-level commentor, which is who you were replying to when I replied to you here (though I made a separate reply to you in a different chain so I understand the confusion).
It would’ve been cool if she said this when she was actively putting people in cages for weed.
It would’ve been cool if she said this for the past 4 years while she was VP.
Now she’s saying it for an election. I’m sure she’s legit this time. lol.
How dare someone change their mind! We should definitely teach her a lesson she won’t forget and be amongst the 3000 people who who vote for Cornel West in November!
I’m assuming that’s the reporter calling to confront the man about his actions. I googled the guys name and it popped up with a picture of a white guy.
I thought the same initially but if my above theory is correct, they made a terrible choice for the article photo.
I didn’t say I expected her to legalize it right now nor am i looking for an apology. You’re mocking the other poster and claiming “she’s changed her mind” without any evidence apart from a basic statement from her that could prove to be completely false for all we know (which was the whole point of their comment).
There’s no indication that legalization is happening. What we’ve gotten is a simple statement that may or may not be true.
And western Europe and the Middle East
This is such a ridiculous expression and I wish people would quit using it to shut down valid criticism and justify inaction from our leaders.
You see a homeless guy starving on the sidewalk and give him a penny to go buy food. It’s obviously not enough to buy anything and he objects, but you tell him “don’t let perfect be the enemy of good. You should be thankful for what I’ve given you.”
Rapist Brock Turner rapes a girl behind a dumpster at school. He’s given probation for the crime. “Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good. Be thankful that he’s being punished for his crime.”
Trump passes his tax bill in 2018 giving permanent cuts to wealthy individuals while middle and lower classes get a temporary cut along with the removal of some credits and caps on SALT deductions. This widens the income inequality in our country but since we got a couple of years of lower tax bills, “don’t let perfect be the enemy of good…”
Just stop it.
They’re cheap and offer port forwarding and there is a radio button you can click to stop seeing ads. It’s typically just a sale notice for AirVPN.
