When I was little, I enjoyed “inventing” things, or drawing designs for things, mostly consisting of aircraft or space ships. One of them was a sub that was constructed out of transparent inflatable plastic, similar to a Zorb ball, so you’d have an unobstructed view of the ocean. It was tear drop shaped and the appeal of the Zorb ball construction was that it’d be comfortable to lie in as you roamed the depths of the ocean. As I got older I learned more about physics and realised what a terrible idea that would actually be.
Wait, this isn’t how everyone else eats them?
Go to Hawaii.
Kerbal Space Program 2.
Tons of performance issues, bugs and I was generally not satisfied with the game even though I’ve put probably thousands of hours into the first game, which always ran perfectly on my computer. Believe me, it takes a lot for me to not enjoy a physics-based game and I really wanted to like it.
There were so many things relating to this incident that bewildered me. The titanium end caps were stuck on using glue, by hand. Also, while carbon fiber is great at handling tensile loads at 14 PSI, it’s not so great at handling compressive ones at 5500 PSI. For such a delicate mission, the whole thing seemed unprofessional in so many ways.
The threshold for experiencing pain in response to a sound is 140 dB and your typical alarm would sound well below that, so this is a situation where a visit to the doctor wouldn’t hurt!
Tryptophan. It is a biochemical precursor for important neurotransmitters, vitamins and hormones such as melatonin, serotonin, and niacin. There happens to be very high concentrations of it in milk and eggs, both of which I love a lot. It can have sedating effects and make you feel chilled out!
That’s awesome! Loved Imperishable Night too, I played it so much along with Perfect Cherry Blossom and Subterranean Animism. As for Embodiment of Scarlet Devil it’s generally considered one of the harder games of the series
New to social media, I just Googled “social media websites” and “new social media websites” and Lemmy was on one of the lists! 😃
Palworld has to be the most addicted I’ve ever been to a game in years, and that was back at launch in January. I’m not going to spoil anything, but they’ve added a ton of new things since!
Patenting vague game mechanics is egregious. This would be like Insomniac patenting “character runs around with a big gun” and subsequently filing a lawsuit against Nintendo for Splatoon, because both Ratchet and the Inklings run around with big guns.
That my grandma’s name was “grandma”.
If it turns out that the Nintendo Switch 2 can dispense coffee.
Jokes aside, I’m already happy! What would make me even happier is getting around to finishing this drawing…soooo many hairs 😂
Grape. When I am eating Skittles they are consistently the last remaining ones in the bag…
