It’s like old people on Facebook. ORDER CORN
“Most US voters say” AKA Not Gonna Happen.
Honestly I don’t understand why Iran hasn’t felt some very real consequences for its support of Russia yet. Like, why do the factories producing Shahed still exist?
Hence their ongoing efforts to ban Critical Race Theory.
You have my sincerest thanks. 😃
As I’ve said before, the distinction between countable and uncountable quantities is lost on most people nowadays. In my opinion, the rampant overuse of the word “amount” (instead of “number”) is the clearest indicator of this problem.
I wouldn’t mind my tax money paying for their one-way tickets. Especially if they leave their passport at the gate.
But if the help had come from North Korea or China, Vlad would have been fine with it.
Or, or, hear me out: just close that cesspool right down to make the world a better place.
That’s cool. Means Ukraine doesn’t have to burden itself with housing and feeding them when they surrender.
Didn’t you know,? Protecting citizens is “communism” and therefore “un-American”.
I (occasionally) like the frantic style of Ben “Yahtzee” Croshaw’s Zero Punctuation game reviews. Together with the wacky animations, they’re quite something.
My favorite soundtrack ever, of course, is that of The Secret of Monkey Island (MT-32) by Michael Land. A lot of nostalgia there.
I also very much like the soundtrack to Dune by Stephane Picq. There’s an edition that combines the Adlib, Adlib Gold, and MT-32 versions which is “chef’s kiss”. Alternatively, I can recommend the Space Opera edition.
Strike Commander by Nenad Vugrinec on MT-32 is also great.
For chiptunes, I really liked Penny Arcade’s On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 by Alex Mauer.
Or, for a real classic, Earthbound by Keiichi Suzuki and Hirokazu Tanaka.
Yes, I have a bit of a thing for retro sounds. 😁
Take my upvote for the unexpected Magritte quote.
Ach, my arteries!
Hamberders, IIRC.
Too bad we can’t prove that it’s state actors perpetuating the recent (planned) attacks on German people, property, and infrastructure. Otherwise these would be considered acts of war against the German nation, to be met with measures of our choosing including the use of military force. I hope that our diplomats can convey this message loud and clear because Putin is playing some seriously dangerous games here.
Let me guess, it’s about…leather-upholstered furniture?
