Prison reform would be great. Not even changing anything bout how they’re run, just make them government run with oversight. Private prisons are obviously clearly immoral and they’re only getting worse for the sake of profit. Making money in nefarious ways using incarcerated people is so fucking clearly wrong it’s amazing that it even got to this point. They broke the laws of the state/country, they should be imprisoned by the state/country. Not some evil prick that will do anything to have more prisoners and keep current prisoners.
