Oh, fake news is okay with him then? I have a good story! It involves a couch.
I heard it was a real story.
Headline should read ‘Vance Behind Fake News.’
Sounds more like willfully enabling murder.
Or, accessory to murder.
If they see people getting hurt/killed and they keep pushing the lines, they are fucking guilty.
aka “Reality is hard to campaign about, so instead we’ll campaign on fake, made-up shit”
Or , more likely, “focus groups said real issues will only lose us support”
Maybe find yourself a better narrative, Vance. Lot of narratives in the world. Some of them even reflect unfavorably on immigration.
And let me also add, setting aside campaign strategy for the Trump campaign for a moment, that if you truly went looking high-and-low for anti-immigrant narratives and a fabricated story about Haitians eating pets was in the shortlist to pick from, maybe the situation with immigration isn’t actually all that bad.
That’s my thinking. If this is the best they can come up with there must not be a lot going on.
I wonder how he thinks smearing an entire city in Ohio will play… in Ohio?
Based on the polling… pretty well. Trump is up by 9.2% over Harris in Ohio.
That’s from polling taken before the debate and before the insane attacks on Springfield. I’m curious what things will look like once post-debate Ohio polls start factoring in.
As someone from Ohio, nobody really cares about Springfield anyway, it and Youngstown regularky make the lists for most depressing cities in the nation.
Man someone needs to get a class action lawsuit of as many Haitian immigrants in Ohio together as possible. Sue the fuckers
He said it’s based on reports from his constituents. The headline is misrepresenting what couchfucker said by leaving out part of the conversation. He is creating publicity for his campaign.
With so many narratives they could have chosen:
When a ton of immigrants come in it puts a strain on the social welfare system.
When a ton of new immigrant children comes into a new school district it puts a large strain on the teachers.
I mean there are things they could have chosen, but pets being eaten? Really? How exactly did they choose that?
Put up random crazy things on a wall and throw darts?
Because you don’t want your voters to have to think about nuanced issues. You want them to react with pure emotion.
